Who is Mentor?

We're a team of passionate educators dedicated to making climbing more inclusive. While sharing our extensive gear knowledge, we'll model the language and actions that enable vibrant community building where everyone is included and empowered.

We're also looking to parter with other thoughtful businesses and community leaders to make their training and onboarding a more comprehensive and engaging process.

Alison Dennis

With degrees in Computer and Systems Engineering and Psychology, Alison blends structure and empathy. She’s taught search and rescue teams, led alpine climbing groups, and now collaborates with industry professionals to bring highly effective training into climbing gyms.

Andreas Unterschuetz

Andreas transitioned form industrial design to consulting and video production, working with all the major climbing gear brands. He is passionate about spreading leadership and facilitation skills throughout the climbing industry (and beyond).

Jeff Jaramillo

Jeff has lived many lives, all of them with a strong theme of creating systems and promoting education. After years of embedding himself further and further into the climbing industry, Jeff has been the resident Trad-Dad and Head of Education at WeighMyRack since 2020.
